A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state’s Mid North Coast this morning.
Just before 7am (Monday 12 July 2021), a Nissan Navara was located on Comboyne Road, Wingham, near the intersection of Khatabundah Street, after it left the roadway and crashed into a rock wall.
Witnesses removed the 45-year-old male driver from the vehicle and performed CPR before emergency services arrived, but he died at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and police from Manning/Great Lakes Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
