Man hands himself in to police after Talbot incident

A man has handed himself into police after an incident in Talbot overnight.

An 18-year-old Maryborough man sustained serious injuries after falling from the tray of a moving utility on Heales Street just after midnight on 12 June.

Passers-by rendered assistance to the man who was flown to hospital with life-threatening-injuries.

The driver of the utility did not stop at the scene, however, an 18-year-old Dunolly man has since handed himself into police.

He has been interviewed and is expected to be charged on summons with dangerous driving causing serious injury.
