Man in court after further investigations into Minto stabbing, NSW

A man has been charged following further investigations into a domestic-related stabbing in Sydney’s south west yesterday.

About 1.10pm (Friday 26 February 2021), emergency services were called to a unit on Minto Road, Minto, following reports a man had suffered a stab wound.

Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old man suffering a stab wound to the chest. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and charged. She remains before the courts.

About 5pm yesterday, the man was released from hospital and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

He was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic) and destroy of damage property (DV).

The Campbelltown man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 27 February 2021).
