An Adelaide Plains man will face court today charged with multiple counts of rape.
The 71-year-old man was arrested yesterday, Wednesday 20 July, by detectives from the Special Crime Investigation Section.
He was charged with multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, unlawful detention and firearms offences, which will be alleged to have occurred between January 2017 and September 2021.
The victim is known to the accused.
The man was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 21 July.
