A man will face Christies Beach court today charged over an alleged sexual assault in the CBD earlier this month.
It will be alleged the victim, a woman aged in her 20s, was assaulted by a man in the Adelaide CBD in the early hours of Saturday 1 October.
Following investigations, Special Crime Investigation Section detectives last night arrested a 51-year-old man, currently of no fixed address, and charged him with rape.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today, Monday 10 October.
The alleged offender was not known to the victim.
