Man in critical condition after stabbing in Woodbine

An investigation is underway after a man was found suffering critical injuries in Sydney’s south west yesterday.

Just after 7.15pm (Wednesday 24 November 2021), emergency services were called to Queenscliff Drive, Woodbine, after reports an injured man had approached the resident of a unit for assistance.

A 33-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for multiple stab wounds, before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were assisted by specialist forensic police with inquiries to locate a crime scene.

Detectives have established Strike Force Botumburra to investigative the circumstances surrounding the incident.
