A crime scene has been established after a man was shot in Sydney’s west.
About 10.10pm (Wednesday 30 January 2019), a 26-year-old man was at the front of a home on Lomond Street, Guildford West, when he was shot in the leg.
After the shooting the unknown offender left the scene in a vehicle described as a white Audi R8.
Emergency services attended and the injured man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established at the location and detectives from Cumberland Police District commenced inquiries.
The incident is believed to be targeted.
