A man is in a serious condition after a fall in Sydney’s CBD this evening.
Just before 7pm (Tuesday 1 December 2020), emergency services were called to Martin Place, following reports a man had fallen.
Police have been told the 34-year-old man was standing near the entrance to the Railway Station, when he fell several metres onto the stairs below.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for treatment of a head injury. He is reported to be in a serious condition.
Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, which is not being treated as suspicious.
