A male has presented himself to Preston Police Station in regard to the theft of a diamond ring from a Preston jeweller this month.
It is alleged a male took a ‘legend of Zelda – master sword lamp’ from a shop at the Murray Road shopping complex about 12.30pm on 13 July.
The man then attended a jeweller at the same complex and asked to try on a diamond ring.
Once the ring was on his finger he ran from the store.
The male will be taken directly to court this afternoon.
