Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a single-vehicle crash in Neerim South this afternoon.
The vehicle was travelling along Main Neerim Road when it struck a tree and overturned about 12pm.
The male driver was declared deceased at the scene.
The female passenger was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
