A man in his 60s has died after falling off a roof at a property at Neilborough, just north of Bendigo.
It is believed the contractor was working with another person on a verandah roof when he fell and was impaled on a metal picket.
WorkSafe is investigating the death which happened today just before noon.
The fatality brings the number of workplace deaths this year to 11, two more than at the same time last year.
