Man killed in skiing incident at Thredbo, NSW

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a man died while skiing at Thredbo this morning.

About 10.15am (Saturday 10 August 2019), a 68-year-old South Australian man was skiing with friends, when it’s believed he struck low-hanging tree branch.

He was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

Police from Monaro Police District will examine all circumstances surrounding the man’s death and prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
