A man missing from Sydney’s North Shore has been located deceased.
The 22-year-old man was last seen in Neutral Bay, about 9am on Saturday (23 September 2023).
When he was unable to be located, officers from North Shore Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
About 9pm yesterday (Monday 25 September 2023), police were advised the man’s vehicle had been located at Hawkesbury. A search of nearby bushland by officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command, failed to locate the man.
About 9am today (Tuesday 26 September 2023), local police resumed the search with the assistance of PolAir, Police Rescue and SES personnel.
Shortly after, the body of a man was located in bushland. He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of the missing man.
Initial inquiries indicate the death is not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
