A man who was pulled from the water at a beach on the state’s Mid North Coast today has died.
About 3.15pm (Saturday 15 May 2021), emergency services were called to Killick Beach at Crescent Head, after reports a man had been pulled from the water unconscious.
He was treated by witnesses prior to the arrival of police and paramedics, who continued treatment, but he died at the scene. The man was believed to be aged in his 60s.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
