Man robbed in Mordialloc

Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a 29-year-old man was robbed in Mordialloc on Friday 19 July.

Police have been told a man was outside a hotel on Main Street about 5am with three unknown males he had met earlier in the night.

One of the males then threatened the man and made demands for his mobile phone and cash.

The victim handed over cash and his mobile which was then thrown to the ground and broken.

The three males, all aged in their 20s, fled the scene, running south on Main Street.

The offender is perceived to be Islander in appearance and was wearing a cap and hooded jumper.

Investigators have released an image of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
