Man seriously injured in Greenbank, QLD

Police are investigating after a man suffered life threatening injuries following a traffic incident involving a pedestrian and two cars in Greenbank this morning.

Around 3am a 22-year-old man was standing on the road near the army barracks when he was struck by a car travelling north on Old Greenbank Road.

The male driver attempted to take evasive action and had a minor collision with another vehicle.

The Marsden man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life threatening injuries while both drivers were uninjured.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has dash cam vision is urged to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
