Police are investigating after a man sustained serious injuries in a crash at Kapunda this afternoon.
Police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Thiele Highway and Greenock Road at Kapunda just after 4pm on Monday 24 August following reports a Hyundai hatchback and a Toyota hatchback had collided.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 78-year-old Kapunda man, was extricated from his vehicle by State Emergency Service personnel. He was subsequently taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 20-year-old Kapunda man, sustained minor injuries and was also taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
