A man has been arrested following an incident at a home in Northfield yesterday.
Police were called to the Northfield home about 4.20pm on Wednesday 30 September following reports a man had been stabbed.
Eastern District patrols responded and arrested the alleged suspect nearby without incident.
A 38-year-old man sustained serious stab wounds and was taken to hospital by paramedics, where he remains in a stable condition.
A 38-year-old Northfield man was charged with causing serious harm to another. He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday 1 October.
Crime Scene Investigators and detectives attended the scene as investigations continue.
Police reassure the community that all parties involved are known to one another and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
