Man stabbed in northern suburbs, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious assault after a man was stabbed in the northern suburbs.

Just before 3am, Thursday 6 January, patrols and paramedics were called to Kulbina Drive, Salisbury North, after reports a man had been stabbed in the abdomen. It is believed the victim, a 23-year-old from Salisbury North, was at an undisclosed location, before returning to the Kulbina Drive address where emergency services were called.

The victim has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life threatening injuries. Investigations are continuing and police do not believe the incident was a random attack.
