A man has been taken into custody as part of police operation in the state’s north.
About 8am (Thursday 23 November 2023), emergency services were called to a private property on the Bruxner Highway, Wollongbar, following a concern for welfare.
About 2pm today (Thursday 23 November 2023), a 45-year-old man was taken into custody by officers from the Tactical Operations Unit.
He has been taken to Lismore Base Hospital under police guard.
