Man to be proceeded against after Parliament House damage

A man will be proceeded against after a report of damage at Parliament House in Hobart overnight.

Police were called to the scene about 11.20pm last night, after 10 windows and two glass doors were damaged.

No entry was gained to the building.

The alleged offender, a 44 year old Hobart man, was located shortly afterwards in Elizabeth St, Hobart.

The man will be proceeded against via summons on a Destroy Property charge and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.
