Detectives from Northern District Child and Family Investigation Section have arrested a northern suburbs man in connection with historic and recent child abuse offences.
Investigations into the nature and extent of the offending are ongoing.
The 30-year-old man has been charged with maintain an unlawful sexual relationship with a child, produce child exploitation material and possess child exploitation material.
He has been refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
