Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a wanted man from the Inner West area.
James Howard, aged 31, is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for an assault related offence.
Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command have been conducting inquiries into his whereabouts and are now appealing for public assistance.
James is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 170cm tall, with a slim build and has long black mullet style hair with shaved sides.
He is known to frequent the Newtown, Enmore, Stanmore and Balmain areas.
Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to not to approach him but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
