Mary Patetsos recognised with Member of Order of Australia

The Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) congratulates Ms Mary Patetsos, FECCA’s immediate past Chairperson, for being awarded a Member of Order of Australia (AM) for her significant contribution to multicultural Australia and for her services to Aged Care.

Ms Patetsos’ contribution to multicultural Australia spans over 30 years of dedication and service and for her tireless advocacy to make us a richer and more inclusive multicultural nation.

Ms Patetsos has served FECCA for the past eight years, initially serving as the Chair of the Healthy Aging committee for her expertise in the aged care policy, and then as the Chairperson of FECCA from 2017-2022.
