MCA deeply saddened by Grosvenor Mine incident

The MCA is deeply saddened by the incident at Anglo American’s Grosvenor Mine near Moranbah yesterday afternoon.

Our thoughts go to the families and friends of the injured workers.

The industry thanks the mine rescue teams and first responders as well as the hospital staff who are caring for the injured men.

The Australian minerals industry’s first priority is the safety and health of its workforce.

The MCA will continue to support the commitment of its members and the broader industry to an industry free of fatalities, injuries and industrial diseases.
