Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Purrumbete on 8 October.
It is understood two vehicles collided at the intersection of Nehill and Alexanders Road, and Cobden – Stonyford Road, about 5.15pm.
Two off-duty nurses performed CPR on the 61-year-old Corangamite woman; however she sadly died at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 39-year-old Roxburgh Park man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway.
