Mad Diesel Repairs Pty Ltd faces one charge under section 23(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for failing to ensure that people other than employees were not exposed to health and safety risks.
WorkSafe alleges the company failed to correctly adjust the garbage truck’s brakes after completing repair works on the vehicle in April 2023.
The matter is listed for a filing hearing at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 12 May 2025.
