New fencing will be installed to fully enclose the children’s playground areas and swings at Memory Park, located between Cowles Road and the Avenue Road village shops.
Following community feedback, Council gave further consideration to a decision made earlier this year to undertake limited extensions to fencing at Memory Park to fully enclose the large tower play space.
After hearing representations from local residents and park users it was resolved that Council proceed to install new fencing at the park in accordance with ‘Option 4’ as presented to the Council meeting of 3 March 2020 so that the large tower play space, toddler play space and swings would be be fully enclosed.
