Methylamphetamine seizure at Milton

Detectives from the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Drug and Serious Crime Group are seeking information in relation to 39 kilograms of methylamphetamine that was seized at Milton yesterday.

As a result of continued investigations into criminal activity and drug trafficking by organised crime syndicates, police executed a search warrant at a Milton unit complex after receiving information from the public.

Inside the unit police located 39 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 5.7 kilograms of cocaine and 4.9 kilograms of cannabis.

The combined estimated street value of the seized drugs is $6.2 million.

Police also located approximately two litres of liquid methylamphetamine, scales, gloves and other drug related equipment and cutting agents.

Investigations are continuing.
