Minnamurra Rock Wall repairs - Byron Robinson and Mitch Golding

Our contractors have begun repairs to the rock retaining wall next to the boat ramp at James Oates Reserve in Minnamurra.

The rock wall has slumped in places and needs to be fixed to protect the foreshore, and remove a safety hazard.

This work will only take a couple of days.

Eventually the young mangroves in front of the wall will develop enough to also help protect the foreshore, as has occurred nearby.

If you need access to the Minnamurra River in the meantime, there are boat ramps close by at James Holt and Trevethan Reserve.
