Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate 62-year-old Geoffrey Hayward, who was reported missing from Bahrs Scrub in the early hours of this morning.
Geoffrey was last seen at a Hilary Street address around 5:00pm yesterday (Monday March 27).
It is believed he’s travelling south in a white 2013 Nissan 370Z coupe, bearing Queensland registration plates “GH60”.
Preliminary investigations indicate that he is in New South Wales and could be attempting to travel to Sydney.
Police and Geoffrey’s family hold concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and may be confused or disoriented.
Geoffrey is described as Caucasian, approximately 178cm tall, with a large build, grey balding hair, a grey beard and brown eyes.
He was wearing denim jeans, white ‘New Balance’ running shoes and a blue/grey t-shirt at the time he was last seen.
Anyone who has seen Geoffrey, or the vehicle he is travelling in, or has any information which could assist with this investigation, is asked to contact police immediately.
