A boy missing from Lake Macquarie has been located safe and well.
The 10-year-old was last seen about 8pm yesterday (Thursday 23 May 2024) at a community hall on Old Belmont Road, Belmont North.
When he could no longer be contacted or located, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries he was located safe earlier today (Friday 24 May 2024).
Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
