A woman reported missing from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has been located.
The 74-year-old woman was last seen leaving a home on Hunter Avenue, Matraville, about 1.30pm today (Saturday 7 October 2023), to go for a walk.
When she failed to return and could not be located, officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Follow inquiries and a geotargeted message, the woman was located in a park in Maroubra about 8.30pm this evening.
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
