A girl missing from the Wollongong area has been located safe and well.
The 12-year-old was last seen at a home on Collaery Road, Russell Vale, about 6.45am today (Monday 3 April 2023).
When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Following inquiries, and a public appeal for assistance, she was located safe and well on Squires Way, Fairy Meadow, just before 9am today (Monday 3 April 2023).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
