Mitchell Shire Libraries is moving from Libby to CloudLibrary, giving library members access to more than 80,000 eBooks and eAudiobooks – up from about 5,000 titles previously available.
CloudLibrary makes it easy to browse, borrow, read and listen using the free CloudLibrary app or a web browser.
What’s available through CloudLibrary?
CloudLibrary connects Mitchell Shire library members to the Victorian CloudLink group, which allows participating libraries to share available digital titles.
Members will have access to:
- more than 80,000 eBooks and eAudiobooks
- a broader range of popular and new titles
- more available copies across participating Victorian libraries, helping to reduce waiting times
How do I access CloudLibrary?
You need to be a Mitchell Shire Library member to use CloudLibrary.
To get started:
- download the free CloudLibrary app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or access CloudLibrary through your web browser.
- select Victoria and Mitchell Shire Library Service.
- log in using your library membership number and PIN.
- browse the collection and start borrowing.
Existing library members don’t need to create a separate CloudLibrary account.
How do I become a library member?
Mitchell Shire Library membership is free. You can:
- join online through the Mitchell Shire Library Service website
- visit any Mitchell Shire library location and join in person.
Once registered, you can start borrowing immediately.
Mitchell Libraries are part of Libraries Victoria, giving members free access to more than three million titles across 150 library branches.
Membership also includes access to books, magazines, audiobooks, eLearning resources, DVDs and children’s books in languages other than English. Free internet and computer access are available at all Mitchell Shire libraries.
