Landholders and river users, including pumpers, on the Mitta Mitta River are advised to take into account the forecast releases of water from Dartmouth Dam and make any necessary adjustment to their river activities.
Transfers from Dartmouth Dam to Hume Dam are in progress.
The flow rate peaked at approximately 3,000 megalitres per day (ML/day) at Colemans’ gauge prior to a gradual recession commencing on Monday, 15 December 2025.
The initial forecasted flow rates published in late November have been adjusted, with a revised target flow rate to reduce to 1,400 ML/day by Friday, 19 December 2025 and remain at this rate until further notice.
