Monday Funday for youth in Strathbogie Shire

This Monday 8th July is going to be a fun day for teenagers aged 13-18 living in the Strathbogie Shire, with the opportunity to catch a bus from Euroa or Nagambie for a day out at Fun Planet in Shepparton.

Strathbogie Shire Council Youth Development Officer, Andy Bell said young people can get a bus ride, lunch, free entry and unlimited rides for $5.

“When we went in to Euroa Secondary College last term young people told us they wanted a trip to Fun Planet next school holidays, so we set up this event,” Mr Bell explained.

“We wanted to give young people something fun to do these school holidays which doesn’t cost them or their parents too much.”

Fun Planet is a family entertainment complex with something for all ages, including laser tag, mini golf, go karts and a haunted house.

Those attending will be supervised by Strathbogie Shire Council staff and volunteers and the day will run from 10am- 4pm.

Tickets, permission forms and bus information is available at www.mondayfunday2019.eventbrite.com or call Council’s Youth Team on 1800 065 993.
