Mongols OMCG clubhouse raided ahead of national motorcycle run – Raptor Squad

Raptor Squad officers have raided a Mongols outlaw motorcycle clubhouse in Blacktown ahead of their national run this week.

About 7.40pm on Friday 6 October 2023, officers attached to State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad – with assistance from the State Intelligence Command and Police Rescue – executed a search warrant at an industrial complex in Blacktown.

During a search of the premises, police located and seized a number of items consistent with the illegal sale and supply of alcohol, including bar stools, lounges, fridges, and alcohol. Detectives also spoke to a 57-year-old man.

It comes as the Mongols OMCG prepare for their ‘national run’ this week in Victoria, between Wednesday 11 October 2023 and Saturday 14 October 2023.

Raptor Squad officers will be deployed to assist in monitoring the run and ensuring all riders obey the law and comply with Australian road rules, particularly when travelling in large number on public roads.

Raptor Squad Commander, Detective Acting Superintendent Stuart Gordon said the NSW Police Force will work closely with Victoria Police to prevent criminal activity and ensure the safety of the public.

“We have assigned a significant number of resources to join our southern counterparts in policing the run, including officers attached to the Southern Region and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command,” Det A/Supt Gordon said.

“No illegal behaviour will be tolerated – either on or off the road – and, as well as minimising the impact of the ride to other motorists, police will be targeting any anti-social behaviour.”
