More arrests for Operation Temeras

Officers from Caulfield Divisional Response Unit have arrested a man and a woman as Operation Temeras continues.

Around 1.15pm on Saturday police arrested a 27-year-old Sandringham man and a 30-year-old Sandringham woman.

A search warrant was then executed at an address in Abbott Street, Sandringham about 6pm.

Police recovered a motorcycle, a large quantity of allegedly altered personal documents and other allegedly stolen property.

Officers also located drugs, cash and other items connected to large scale drug trafficking.

The pair were interviewed and charged with numerous offences including trafficking, possess drug of dependence, handle stolen goods and possess proceeds of crime.

They have been remanded and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.

Operation Temeras is an ongoing investigation into a number of aggravated burglaries, theft of motor cars and drug offences in the Caulfield local police service area.
