More charges after Chippendale home invasion, NSW

Police have charged another man following a home invasion in Chippendale where a man was stabbed last month.

Just before midnight on Friday 3 January 2020, four men allegedly forced entry into a unit complex on Shepherd Street.

After a confrontation with the unit occupants, the four men fled the scene, with one of the men, aged 29, falling and breaking his leg.

He sustained multiple stab wounds caused by the unit occupants, with three people currently before the courts charged in relation to the stabbing.

The man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and has since been released.

Following inquiries, the 29-year-old was arrested at Bulolo Drive, Whalan yesterday (Friday 28 February 2020).

He was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where he was charged with aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence whilst armed.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 29 February 2020).
