More investment in Canberra’s creative industries

A total of eight arts organisations today received a substantial investment of more than $576,000 as the ACT Government continues to invest in Canberra’s creative industries.

Minister for the Arts, Creative Industries and Cultural Events Gordon Ramsay said the investment is one of the main ways the ACT Government provided direct support to ACT arts organisations.

“I am particularly pleased to announce this substantial investment will be a first for the Australian Dance Party, Girls Rock! Canberra and Rebus Theatre,” Minister Ramsay said.

“These organisations have made significant strides in their development and have demonstrated their strong capacity to support local artists and promote unique employment opportunities within Canberra’s creative industries”
