Helping children build the skills and confidence they need to stay safe online.

The Australian Government has renewed its funding for Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s Safe Kids are eSmart Kids program to help more children learn how to stay safe online.

The program teaches children aged 4 to 16 how to navigate the online world.

Designed with educators and almost 1,000 students, the program can be delivered online or offline. It provides free, curriculum-aligned resources for schools, educators, parents and carers.

The resources help children build the knowledge, confidence and critical thinking skills they need to identify online risks, scams and misinformation.

More than 325,000 students have already used the Foundation’s eSmart resources.

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation will receive $6 million over 3 years to support the development, refinement and delivery of evidence-based resources for Australian students.
