Townsville’s newest social housing development will soon open its doors, the Palaszczuk Government has announced.
Construction has finished on two two-bedroom duplexes in Cranbrook, with tenants to move in soon.
It comes as another social housing property nears completion this month, comprising of 16 two-bedroom units and two four-bedroom apartments at Mundingburra.
Across North Queensland, 237 new social homes will commence in by June 30 2025, supporting more than 235 full-time equivalent jobs.
