The new transport services will roll out across regional NSW from September 2019. They will include additional train and coach services.

The new transport services include:

  • a mid-week train service between Griffith and Sydney
  • a second Bathurst Bullet train service
  • a daily coach service between Orange and both Bathurst Bullet trains.

During its weekday services, the Bathurst Bullet will provide customers with two morning services from Bathurst and two evening services from Sydney.

Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said the NSW Government was still building the new services with a number of coach trials taking place.

“The NSW Government has two trial coach services connecting Broken Hill to Mildura, and to Adelaide which are improving connections from our most regional communities to nearby hubs including air services, shopping facilities and medical specialists,” Mr Toole said.

“We’re also halfway through community consultation on 13 new coach services that will help connect 44 regional communities from across the state, which we expect to start in early 2020.”
