More ways for community to ‘waste less, recycle more’

The Barossa Council are pleased to have extended their partnership with the Father’s Farm, offering more options to ‘waste less, recycle more’.

Following the successful trials throughout the 2018-19 financial year both the light industrial soft plastics and household e-waste schemes have been extended. Mayor Bim Lange says “We know the community are interested in avenues for ecological and responsible waste disposal and recycling. Extending both the soft plastics and e-waste initiatives with John’s Shed brings us close to achieving our targets for waste reduction”

Local light industry looking to dispose of soft plastics items such as plastic film, rinsed chemical drums, irrigation/dripper pipes and green strappings. Those with large loads are encouraged to contact Father’s Farm Manager, Mr Tony Thiele on
