Mosaic coaster workshops

MidCoast Council

Join us at MidCoast Council Forster Library’s new space over two nights and learn how to make your own mosaic coasters.

The workshops go for two hours each and you will get to take home four 10cm round ceramic coasters that you will decorate with pre-cut glass and glass tiles.

You can use the designs provided or create your own using an array of coloured glass and mirrors in diamond, triangular and square shapes to create unique, custom coasters.

Mosaic Workshop Part 1 is on Wednesday 8 November from 6pm to 8pm where you will learn how to seal, design and use adhesive on your coasters.

Mosaic Workshop Part 2 is on Wednesday 15 November from 6pm to 8pm where you will learn to prepare, clean, grout, polish and adhere cork to the back of the coasters.

Come along and relax in a beautiful new space while learning new skills and getting creative.

All materials are provided and are covered by the $50 workshop cost. Please wear enclosed shoes and bring an old towel for your workspace. Bookings essential:
