Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Mostaf Abdirahman Haji Ali.
The 28-year-old, of no fixed address, is wanted on warrant in relation to sexual assault.
Ali is described as being African in appearance, has brown eyes and very short dark hair as well as facial hair.
It’s believed that Ali may have travelled to New South Wales and is frequenting the Sydney areas of Auburn and Merrylands.
Investigators have released an image of Ali in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
