Motorcycle rider dies after collision with bus at Nowra, NSW

A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a school bus in the state’s south this morning.

About 6.45am today (Tuesday 29 October 2019), emergency services were called to the intersection of Flinders Road and Bellevue Street, South Nowra, following reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a bus.

The motorcycle rider, a 28-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the bus was not injured and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established by officers attached to South Coast Police District and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.

A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
