Police have arrested a motorcyclist this morning after he was allegedly followed by the Air Wing between Epping and St Kilda, reaching speeds of around 200km/h.
Officers attempted to intercept a motorbike on Dalton Road in Epping about 4.15am.
The male rider allegedly fled the scene.
With assistance from the Air Wing, police followed the bike through multiple suburbs, where it allegedly reached about 200km/h, before coming to a stop in St Kilda.
Investigators were told the male rider got off the bike and entered a property on Tennyson Street.
A 27-year-old Mickleham man was arrested shortly after and is assisting police with their enquiries.
