Motorcyclist dies after crash in Sydney’s south west

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Sydney’s south west a short time ago.

About 4.15pm today (Saturday 17 June 2023), emergency services were called to Remembrance Drive, Camden, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command arrived to find a motorcycle and a utility had collided before the car allegedly left the scene.

The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 40s, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at scene.

The 43-year-old male driver was arrested a short time later on the Old Hume Highway, Camden South, and taken to Camden Hospital for mandatory testing, he is now at Narellan Police Station.

A crime scene has been established and police are investigating the incident.
